G Suite Authentication

This operation requires “Administrator” privileges


On Enterprise plans, account management can be performed in conjunction with Google’s “G Suite.”

Enable G Suite Authentication

  1. To enable G Suite authentication for your Enterprise, open “Settings” from the top right section of the Enterprise Admin Console.

  2. The G Suite Authentication Settings page will be displayed. Please carefully read the warnings before clicking on the Enable G Suite authentication button. ScreenShot of G Suite

  1. After clicking on the Enable G Suite authentication button, you will be redirected to the Google account authentication screen. Select a G Suite account or log in if you haven’t already logged in.

Once the G Suite account authentication is complete, the Enterprise’s G Suite integration is complete. Additionally, all Enterprise members will receive an email informing them that G Suite integration is enabled.

Furthermore, as seen in the following screenshot, the Enterprise Admin Console will show that G Suite authentication is enabled.

G Suite Transition period after enabling G Suite authentication

The 14 days after enabling G Suite authentication is a transition period, and passwords can also be used to log in during this time. However, even during this transition period, G Suite SSO will take precedence for users who have enabled G Suite integration for their account, and their passwords will be disabled.

Please proceed to “Authenticate DeployGate account with G Suite.”

Authenticate DeployGate account with G Suite

  1. After enabling G Suite Authentication with the Enterprise, Enterprise members will be notified by email.

The email will contain a URL for the user to enable G Suite authentication for their DeployGate account.

For users who are already logged in to DeployGate, a message will appear at the top of their dashboard, letting them know that G Suite authentication is enabled. They can also be directed to the page to enable G Suite authentication from this message.

  1. Users can enable G Suite authentication for their DeployGate accounts on the Authenticate with G Suite page. Please carefully read the warnings before clicking on the “Authenticate with G Suite Account” button. ScreenShot of G Suite

  2. Authenticating with a G Suite account will enable the DeployGate account’s G Suite authentication.

  1. Authenticating with a G Suite account will enable the DeployGate account’s G Suite authentication. Additionally, it’s possible to see each account’s G Suite authentication status by going to the Member Details page.
