How to Use Instant Device
This feature is provided as a beta version. Features may be changed or restricted without prior notice.
This page introduces the basic operations and useful features of Instant Device.
Basic Operations
Launching the App
From the Instant Device section on the Distribution Page, select the device, OS, and screen orientation, then click the Launch App button.

Instant Device will launch in a new window, displaying your app with the selected configuration.

Operating the App
Within the launched Instant Device, you can operate the app just like on a real device:
- Tap: Click with your mouse
- Swipe: Drag with your mouse
- Text Input: Type directly with your keyboard
- Scroll: Use your mouse wheel or drag
Changing Device Settings
Supported Devices and OS
Instant Device supports the following devices and operating systems:

Switching Screen Orientation
You can freely switch between Portrait and Landscape orientations.
This is useful for verifying your app's screen rotation handling.
Taking Screenshots
With Instant Device, you can take screenshots directly in your browser.

- Complete on PC: No need to transfer images from a physical device to your PC
- Efficient: Quickly capture multiple screens
- Instant Sharing: Attach captured images directly to documents or chat tools
How to Take Screenshots
You can use your browser's standard screenshot functionality or capture tools:
For macOS
Command + Shift + 4: Select an area to screenshotCommand + Shift + 3: Screenshot the entire screen
For Windows

Using Browser Developer Tools
- Open your browser's developer tools (F12 key)
- Display the device toolbar
- Use the screenshot option
Simultaneous Verification on Multiple Devices
One of Instant Device's major features is the ability to open multiple browser windows and verify app behavior on different devices simultaneously.

How to Use
- Keep the Distribution Page open and launch multiple Instant Devices with different settings
- Arrange the windows side by side
- Perform the same operations on each device and verify behavioral differences
Useful Comparison Cases
- Verify display differences between iOS and Android
- Compare display on different screen sizes (iPhone vs iPad, smartphone vs tablet)
- Simultaneously verify Portrait and Landscape layouts
- Verify behavior on different OS versions
Switching Revisions on the Distribution Page
When you change the revision (app version) to distribute from the Distribution Page, the app version launched by Instant Device will also change.
Steps to Switch Revisions
- Open the
Update Distributionsection on the Distribution Page - Select the revision you want to launch
- Update the Distribution Page
- When you launch Instant Device, the new revision will start
This allows you to easily compare the behavior of different app versions.
Usage Notes
What Instant Device Cannot Do
The following features may be unavailable or limited in Instant Device:
- Hardware features such as camera and microphone
- Some sensor features (accelerometer, GPS, etc.)
- Push notifications
- Certain native features
To verify these features, testing on a physical device is required.
About Performance
- Operation response speed may vary depending on your network environment
- Complex animations or heavy processing may feel slower than on a physical device
Session Expiration
Instant Device sessions have an expiration time. If you don't use it for an extended period, please launch it again.
